Pia Arrobio, creative director for LPA and bougie skincare enthusiast, likes to start every night by throwing on a robe or a slip, something that "makes her feel like an adult woman." The next step in her nighttime routine also involves fabric: she's anti-cotton, at least when it comes to skincare. Instead of using a cotton pad to apply her Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water, she uses gauze. "Gauze allows the product to really get onto my skin rather than into the cotton," she says.

After wiping her face twice over with the cleansing water, she uses an Erno Lazlo bar soap to wash her face clean. "It's super cleansing and doesn't dry me out," she adds.
Next comes what she calls the most important step in her routine: Biologique Recherche P50 toner. "From watching all the Melanie Simon tutorials, I learned to press into my skin. I use p50 everyday just at night. This is my stuck on a desert island product," she says.
Next comes a microcurrent tool called ZIIP. It connects to an app on your phone and helps instantly lift and tone the face, much like a facial would at any swanky spa. "It looks like you had a facelift, it's unbelievable," she says.
After layering on two serums, Arrobio takes her dermal roller and rolls the serums in to her face. "Since doing this I've seen all the discoloration just like literally lift off. My melasma has gone down," she says.
