Everyone knows that summer skin needs a little extra TLC, and this effortless scrub keeps your body looking fresh even on the steamiest days. Sea salts contain minerals that can help banish dullness: The magnesium reduces inflammation while sulfates help to flush out toxins. Basil, our favorite ingredient this month, enhances skin's luster and is often used to treat acne and other skin infections. Lastly, safflower oil is rich with linoleic acid, which helps maintain cell membrane integrity (read: It helps your skin retain moisture). Here's how to DIY your own at-home Hadid-level glow:

The Ingredients

1 cup sea salt

1 cup safflower oil

5-10 drops Basil Essential Oil

Mix all ingredients together and voilà!

The Application

Massage a small amount of your homemade mixture into skin with circular and sweeping motions (for lymph flow stimulation).

The Playlist

We recommend putting on a relaxing five-song playlist—the perfect length for a luxurious soak in the tub. Some Dimes-approved tunes, below.

Sean Nicholas Savage, "Naturally"

Homeshake, "Doo Dah
