There are a several things that come to mind when you think of Chrissy Teigen: hilarious/relatable social media queen, foodie, stylish mom-to-be, one half of a painfully adorable celebrity couple, and of course, gorgeous model with a killer bod and a mega-watt smile. Naturally, we're all eager to know every juicy detail of her beauty routine—especially the extreme or experimental. (Vampire facials, anyone?) The folks at Refinery29 got the deets, asking Teigen the question we all want to know, "What is the weirdest thing you've ever done in the name of beauty?"
"Oh, wow, the weirdest thing?!" Teigen ruminated. "It's so crazy because I know the right answer would be one of those blood facials or something like that, but… I haven't even done the cool leech things that eat your feet off! I really do love to do things that are nice and simple."
Just as we're starting to worry that maybe she really is as born-like-this flawless as she seems, Teigen came up with an answer: "Oh! Maybe that I got veneers? I shaved away my teeth and made them into little pencil points for nice teeth, that's kind of weird if you think about it. I was a notorious teeth-grinder, so all my front teeth became a couple millimeters shorter."
While whittling down natural teeth to cap them with perfectly formed porcelain veneers isn't out of the ordinary in Hollywood—a stunning smile is practically a job requirement—we love it when models and celebs embrace their unique smiles. If you ask us, Teigen's smile has always looked like a million bucks.
