Dr. Barbara Sturm Face Cream Rich

The first time I met Dr. Sturm she took my blood like a very chic vampire, ran it through a special vial, and made me a $1,400 bespoke moisturizer. The process is very Death Becomes Her, and I'm fully here for it. According to Sturm, the cream harnesses your blood's unique ability to repair your skin. For those who aren't in the market for blood cream, Sturm's regular rich face cream is an excellent alternative. —Julie Schott, Beauty Director, ELLE.com

37 Actives High Performance Anti-Aging Cream

The first and only wrinkle cream I've ever used, this super potent anti-ager from New York City dermatologist Macrene Alexiades-Armenakas, MD, PhD, FAAD, PC (yes, she has that many degrees) goes on totally invisible and smells like nothing. But don't let the invisible delivery fool you–it really works. And if the price tag burns a little, consider the fact that Macrene's ingredients (including hyaluronic acid and peptides) remain active for up to two years. —Leah Chernikoff, Editorial Director

37 Actives High Performance Anti-Aging Cream, $295; skinstore.com

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer

I'm not precious with my skincare routine–I use cleanser and moisturizer only, no toners, serums, oils, any of that stuff. But I do use two different moisturizers, one in the morning with SPF and one at night with anti-aging benefits. Both are Neutrogena so they're gentle but effective, and budget-friendly enough that I can buy them often and use them liberally. —Natalie Matthews, Senior Editor

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer, $21; neutrogena.com

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment + Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment

I'm insane, so I secretly believe that if I start using creams that are expressly meant to treat wrinkles in my twenties, I'll somehow age faster. It's like my very own "If you build it, they will come" theory of skincare. And yet despite that, I'm not really willing to leave my wonton face to its own devices. Welcome to the inside of my brain. It's a web of contradictions.

So, anyway! I've developed what I like to think of as a covert wrinkle plan. I use Sunday Riley's Good Genes to keep my skin relatively supple and toned and Kate Somerville's ExfoliKate to "promote cell turnover," which sounds like a deeply mature goal. But let's keep this on the DL, okay? —Mattie Kahn, News Writer

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment, $24; sephora.com; Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment, $105; net-a-porter.com.

Lancome Visionnaire Nuit Beauty Sleep Perfector

I'm a bit of a Lancôme acolyte, so I was excited to try this product when I encountered it a few months ago (thank you, Elle.com beauty closet). The formula is meant to transform from a gel to an oil, but this isn't a magic goo situation. It's a cream that pretty much behaves like a cream—just a very luxurious, smooth, and pleasant-feeling one. —Chloe Schama, Executive Editor

Lancome Visionnaire Nuit Beauty Sleep Perfector, $88; sephora.com

Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Corrective Eye Cream + Neutrogena Age Shield™ Face Lotion Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 110

I splurged on this eye cream from Shisheido once I found lines forming at the outer corners of my eyes. I'm not too concerned with aging though, because I hope to eventually form wrinkles as elegant as Cate Blanchett's. I just don't want to get any in my twenties. My main concern is to take preventative measures with constant application of SPF. I've been using this Neutrogena lotion since high school, partially due to the fact that ten years later, my mom still includes them in her care packages (and still sends care packages, for that matter). —Justine Carreon, Associate Market Editor

Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Corrective Eye Cream, $60; bloomingdales.com.
