"I want to be one tone, and I want to glow," she says as she starts to wipe off her makeup with the hydrating cleansing wipes from Neutrogena. "Before I scrub and exfoliate, I like to cleanse my face with the Tatcha cleansing oil." She admits to being scared of an oil product at first, but since oil attracts oil it's the best thing you can use on oily skin.
Next she reaches for a Clean & Clear scrub to help clear out her pores and fight acne. "I've been trying face products since I was like 13, 12-years old. I use to break out a lot, especially in my teen years. These are just the products that have been working for me the best." Next, she reached for a gold mask she bought from Ricky's. "The next day you wake up with beautiful, glowing skin." On days she doesn't use the gold mask, she makes her own DIY face mask with oatmeal and honey.
After masking comes moisturizer. Carolina picked up her latest favorite, Drunk Elephant's Lala Retro Whipped Cream, from Sephora. On top of her moisturizer she applies one of two nighttime serums from the brand The Ordinary. "One of them is for hydrating and discoloration and the other is for lines and wrinkles," she says.
