Urban Decay shared a photo on Instagram and Twitter of a model wearing a dramatic teal and metallic cobalt eye with the text "For the Throne" written across the image. Her lips are painted a blurry pink shade. No other information about the collection was shared, other than the fact that it will be launching in April. The first episode of season eight is airing on April 14, 2019.

No word yet on what the products in the collection will be, but we can assume an eyeshadow palette and lipstick will be key in the collection. The vibrant colors of the eye and lip aren't typically seen in the show's universe, so hopefully the packaging will speak to the Game of Thrones-aesthetic that fans know all too well.

This isn't the first news of a Game of Thrones-inspired makeup collection. Back in 2017, Storybook Cosmetics announced they were working on securing a license for a Game of Thrones-inspired makeup collection. It was never released, but the brand has teased a dragon-inspired collection that nods to the show.

Wet n Wild also alluded to the hit series through a makeup collection called Fire Dragon and Ice Dragon that was released last year. It included bronzers, highlighters, liquid lipsticks, loose pigments, and two eyeshadow quads, as well as a limited edition set of makeup brushes.

Urban Decay has previously launched collaborations with Gwen Stefani, Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass, Oz The Great and Powerful, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Pulp Fiction, among others. We'll update this post when we learn more.
