Marjan's Los Angeles home has an entire room dedicated to just beauty—with a walk-in closet entirely for wigs and weaves. "I basically use hair extensions on all my clients, I feel like it makes the hair look better for a photo. You can correct color, add highlights, add fullness, length—you can give anyone a transformation," she says. Most of her extensions are from the brand Hidden Crown hair, but she's also sourced various wigs in an array of shades—some custom—for her collection over the years. "Before each client I grab a couple ranges and a couple different lengths. You don't usually find out what look you're doing before unless it's for a really big event," she adds. "I come prepared. If they say that they want a long ponytail, or they say they want something really short, I bring options for every single look."

Marjan doesn't just create iconic hair looks—she also creates content that teaches women exactly how to recreate the style at home. So her glam room serves two purposes: it's both a feminine and inviting space where she can get ready, but it's also where she films IGTV tutorials on flat iron waves and snatched ponytails. She built a massive vanity out of Ikea furniture and a mirror from Amazon, then decorated the walls with custom paintings from the artist Kyra Kendall.

Marjan stashes away all her makeup products in the top drawer, like the Khloe and Malika collection from Becca Cosmetics. In the bottom drawer is her edited collection of staple hair products and tools—ones she uses on just herself. "I've been trial-using the GHD Glide. It's amazing for low maintenance girls," she says whole showing off the hot brush. "I use it in the morning, it gets rid of frizz. If you want you can add a little flip or flair or add a little blend it's a really easy tool. This was a popular thing in the '90s and I'm glad it's back new and improved."

Marjan's favorite hairspray is a drugstore staple from Tresemme—and it's the one she's often seen wielding backstage at New York Fashion Week. "This is a strong-hold hairspray that I can still brush through, it doesn't feel stiff or heavy on the hair," she adds. With naturally think and frizzy hair, Marjan relies on Color Wow's Dream Coat every time she washes her hair. "My hair is frizzy naturally. If I use this and blow-dry it in with the GHD Air dryer it lasts for three shampoos," she says. "I only wash my hair like once a week. So if I use this once a month my hair is really frizz-free and hydrated."

The hairstylist needed even more space for all the hair products, tools, and accessories she uses on her A-list clients, so she turned to a closet just outside of her glam room. The meticulously organized space is where she grabs items she needs for her kit when she's traveling. "If I have a client that needs a certain product for their hair texture or something I know that I can just quickly grab it if I know it's something that's not normally in my kit," she says. On the top shelf is every hair tool "you can imagine" as well as a collection of various paddle and round brushes.

The next shelf is all about styling products, and it's organized by her favorite brands: Oribe, R+Co, Ouai, Moroccanoil, Fatboy, and Tresemme. She also stashes away jar after jar of Olly vitamin hair and nail gummies in this closet, as well as her growing collection of natural and organic skincare products.

Marjan broke the internet—at least the hair-obsessed pockets of it—with her collection of hematite crystal accessories in collaboration with the brand Kitsch earlier this year. "I was so shocked by how many people were using it," she says. Marjan has doubles and triples of all the original pins and clips in her closet, as well as the new iterations like "boss, "icon," and the '90s-inspired oversized snap clips. "I love hair accessories, I have always loved the little flair it adds to the simplest looks," she says.
