Kristin Cavallari made her television debut on MTV's hit teen reality show Laguna Beach back in 2004. She's come a long way since—Cavallari is now an entrepreneur behind jewelry and home goods brand Uncommon James, a mother of three, and wife to former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler. The MTV alumna also recently launched Little James, a children's clothing line inspired by her kids. Her reality show, Very Cavallari, chronicles her personal life and business endeavors down in Nashville. (Season two of the series is currently airing on the E! network.)

In this episode of Go To Bed With Me, the reality star veteran breaks down every product in her nighttime skincare routine, the importance of removing your makeup before going to bed, and the one product her husband is known to steal from her on occasion.

Cavallari starts her routine with Neutrogena's makeup remover wipes, a beauty staple she's been using for years. "Honestly, [I've been using them] as long as I can remember because they truly take off everything," Cavallari says of her drugstore find. "There's no better feeling than taking off your makeup at the end of the day. I mean you guys can see, that is disgusting," she says with a laugh as she holds up her makeup wipe covered in foundation and eyeshadow. Cavallari notes that she usually blends her foundation down her neck, so she makes sure to wipe down there as well.

Cavallari only washes her face at nighttime, and she favors Tatcha Foaming Enzyme Powder. The rice powder turns into a creamy foam once she mixes it with water. She suds up the mixture in the palm of her hands and begins to cleanse her skin. "It gets really foamy and I love it because it feels like it cleans out all of my pores and gets off any makeup that I left behind," she says.

"My face feels incredibly clean," she says as she dries her skin with a white cotton towel. "I just feel like I've stripped away the entire day." Cavallari adds that her skin will get "a little bit dry" after cleansing, so she moisturizes her face right away with Karee Hays Skin Lab Retexturize Nighttime Restore. She puts three pumps of the thick cream into the palm of her hands and massages it into her face. "I completely cover my face with it and it feels so good. And everything I do to my face, I make sure to do to my neck and chest as well," Cavallari says while she rubs the product into her neck and décolletage.

Cavallari alternates the Karee Hays Skin Lab Retexturize Nighttime Restore with Revision Skincare's Retinol Complete 1.0. "I'm very much a hippie in a sense, where I don't eat a lot of processed foods, I'm very natural," she says while tapping on the lid of the retinol. "This is the one area in my life where chemicals come into play."

Next up is protecting the skin around her eyes. Cavallari loves Tatcha's Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream. "This eye cream is really thick; unless an eye cream is thick, I don't want it 'cause I want it to feel like it's really doing something," she says as she pats the cream underneath her eyes and on her eyelids. "My husband Jay likes to actually steal my eye cream. He can honestly go months without washing his face, and never have a breakout, I would have full acne if I did that," she adds.

Cavallari admits that she didn't have to "think twice about eye cream" until she was in her late-20s and gave birth to her oldest son Camden Jack. "Us moms know how important eye cream is because we're tired. The sleep will never be the same once you have kids," she says with a laugh. Cavallari continues that eye cream is also practical when she's filming her reality show because it prevents her under-eye concealer and setting powder from looking cakey on camera.

Since she has breakout-prone skin and doesn't want to risk clogging her pores, Cavallari does not apply oil to her face. However, she likes to apply it to her neck and chest, an area she admits was not a concern for her until recently. "I'm 32-years-old, so I just started giving love to my neck and chest, so I may regret that later. Or hopefully, I can reverse all of that now or keep all of the aging at bay," she says.

After she hydrates her skin and brushes her teeth with Tom’s Natural Toothpaste–"it has to be minty, always"–Cavallari's final beauty step is lip balm. "My lips get chapped a lot, especially when I'm traveling," she says while slathering on Sulwhasoo Essential Lip Serum Stick straight from the bullet.
