Hairstylist Marissa Marino pulled Selena Gomez's hair into a low bun and secured it with a single rhinestone clip. Her face-framing layers were parted deep to one side to create a heavy bang moment.
For something really refined and chic, slick hair all the way back into a tight bun with a strong center part. We especially love the little bows that Ashley Graham wore to the Oscars— it's an unexpected touch of fun.
A wavy updo adds softness and a romantic touch to any updo (bonus points if it's your natural hair texture). Finish off the look with an intricate headband like Chloe Sevigny.
Show off some curls and let your bangs hang loose up front like Sandra Oh in this updo look. Tie the rest in the back in a top knot to keep unnecessary strands out of your face.
"Maisie was wearing a navy, layered Miu Miu dress with black details and bows. Maisie has always been my most playful and outgoing client," says celebrity hairstylist Ryan Richman. "She never plays it safe and always wants to try something different. She originally came to me with the idea of doing a Brigitte Bardot updo."
