Ciara took home the award for biggest and best hair look of the night at the 2019 Met Gala. Okay, so no actual awards were handed out, but it's what she deserves for her killer ultra-voluminous afro that shut down the red carpet.

The superstar singer and dancer wore a custom Peter Dundas emerald green gown complete with cut-outs and lined with hundreds of ostrich feathers. She accentuated her hair with two jeweled clips secured just above her ears.

It wasn't the only bold and beautiful hair look Ciara wore on Monday. Earlier in the day she showed off a similar hair texture on Instagram, but instead pulled tight into two buns on either side of her head. She let down all that gorgeous texture later in the night when she officially hit the red carpet in her final look.

On April 27, the singer shared a video of her natural hair length on Instagram, promising she would share the "secrets later" for how she made it grow. "The first time I got a relaxer when I was young, it took out my hair. I was devastated," she captioned the video. "I never thought my hair would grow back. So proud."
