Growing up in Hawaii, it seems as though Devin Brugman was predisposed to turn her love of the beach and bikinis into a full-fledged career. In 2012, she co-founded the popular lifestyle blog The Swim Report and Instagram account @ABikiniADay with her best friend Natasha Oakley. Since then, the pair have amassed a massive social media following, which they parlayed into Monday Swimwear, a line of bathing suits known their sexy cuts and figure-flattering styles. In this week's episode of Go To Bed With Me, the Los Angeles-based influencer walks us through her entire nightly beauty routine which includes one unexpected ingredient: snail mucin.

The first step in Brugman's routine is to remove her makeup with a Face Halo puff. "I literally cannot take my makeup off without it," she declares. (Victoria's Secret model Kelly Gale is also a fan of the reusable makeup remover). Brugman adds warm water and Fresh's Soy Cleanser on the pad and rubs it on her face using a circular motion to help dissolve any waterproof mascara on her lashes. She notes that she's "completely hooked and obsessed" with the face wash, which she's been using for the past year.

Brugman admits she's prone to breakouts on her forehead, however, eight months after a friend introduced her to Glossier's toning solution, Brugman's skin has become even and smooth. Now, it's an "essential step" in her nightly routine. She likes to dampen a cotton pad and rub her face with it all over to remove any leftover makeup.

Next up is the Blemish and Age Defense Serum by SkinCeuticals which she uses as a spot treatment for her T-Zone. "It kinda dries out my skin if I use too much, so I'll just use a couple of drops," Brugman says, adding that she coincidentally "got a pimple just in time for this video."

One of Brugman's favorite skincare brands is Caudalie. She adds a couple of drops of the Vinoperfect Glycolic Brightening Essence into the palm of her hand, and "slaps it on" her face. "It takes your skin from looking dull, tired, and dry to bright and gives you that extra glow," Brugman says.

She moves onto her eyes, squirting a pea size amount of Caudalie's Resveratrol Lift Hyaluronic Acid Eye Lifting Balm to her ring finger and gently pats it around her eyes. Brugman notes that this is "probably one of the most important steps for me because I get really really dry around my eyes. And the first signs of aging that I'm seeing is around my eyes."

One of Brugman's skincare goals is to brighten and hydrate her complexion. So she rubs a thin layer of Caudalie's Vinoperfect Radiance Serum into her skin, letting it "marinate for at least 30 seconds" before moving onto her two different night creams.

"Okay, this part is really weird, but it's snail mucin. It's like the celery juice of skincare, everyone is obsessed with it right now. Basically, it's like the fountain of youth," says Brugman. Although she's been using Missha's Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Cream for the past couple of months, she's "fully obsessed" with how much it smells like aloe. She immediately follows up by patting Caudalie's Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Overnight Cream onto her fingers and massaging it into her skin. While the second cream is heavier, Brugman's okay with that because she has dry skin.

Bruman gently mists her face with Caudalie's Grape Water Spray and uses Herbivore's Rose Quartz Facial Roller to help the products soak into her skin, calling the process "a nice little moment" to treat herself.

After she rubs Fresh's Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy in Dream, which adds a sheer pink to her lips, Brugman has an unexpected final step to create a spa-like atmosphere. She rubs a couple drops of lavender oil (her favorite scent) in her the palm of her hand and inhales a deep breath of the oil which helps to decompress. "It calms me down, brings me back to the center, and gets me ready for bed," Brugman says.
