You can prep for today's theater arrival of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil by witnessing how Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie transformed into her iconically mischievous character–with a little help from makeup products by Mac Cosmetics.

The makeup brand uploaded a video of Jolie's magical transformation to their Instagram last week. In it, makeup artists do the heavy duty work of applying Maleficent's prosthetic cheekbones to twisting her hair to hide inside her signature horns. The caption reads, "Morph into Disney’s Maleficent with the transformative power of Lipstick in Russian Red. See more looks in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, sweeping into theatres on October 18. #Maleficent #MACHalloween"
