Seeing Red

Red is the go-to color for lips but oft-overlooked when it comes to the eyes. But makeup artist Marika D’Auteuil's latest look shows us that it's time we stop sleeping on the sultry crimson shade. Instead of just washing the lids with the color, D'Auteuil created an abstract design around the lids to bring the drama to the eyes and a blotted red lip.

Pink Explosion

It's hard to distract anyone from Maison Valentino's regal, otherworldly dresses. Pat McGrath said challenge accepted. Mother's ethereal angel makeup look was a delicate wash of hot pink from her MothershipVII: DivineRose eye palette that started on the lids and then gently swiped into a c-shape along the cheekbones. But Adut Akech's flawless, butter-smooth skin was the icing on the cake.
