You've done the dip-powder nail kit. You've nailed the at-home spa day. Maybe you've even tried dyeing your own hair. But now that bikini season is upon us, it's time to think about your down-there situation. Cult-favorite razor brand Flamingo has read our minds and just launched an at-home pubic hair waxing kit.

For many people, pubic hair is not fun to deal with. It's painful and difficult to remove, and it's more prone to ingrown hairs than any other area of the body. So, Flamingo set out to create a waxing kit specifically for pubic hair — the first of its kind.

Designed for an easy, pain-free experience at home, the kit comes with 24 no-heat waxing strips in three different sizes: square, narrow rectangle, and wide rectangle. The wax on the strips is made of beeswax and intentionally placed off-center to give you more room to grip. You'll also get post-wax cloths made with white willow bark to remove excess wax and prevent ingrown hairs.

If you're new to at-home waxing, fear not. Flamingo provides a step-by-step guide to help you achieve the results you want, stress-free. We got our hands on the brand-new kit to try it out for ourselves (praying we don't have the same Waxine experience as Phoebe and Monica).

It's worth giving the step-by-step guide another shoutout because it makes the whole process virtually foolproof. It clearly lays out all the steps you need to take pre- and post-wax, and even admits that it won't be completely painless. The guide also says that it may take a few attempts to get it right, which I definitely experienced.

The strips themselves are easy to maneuver, but it took a few tries to figure out the right placement and the right pulling angle. But luckily, one strip has enough wax to be used multiple times, so it was OK to have a little trial and error. I'll admit that I was a bit nervous to pull the first one off, but the pain wasn't so bad after I bit the bullet. TBH, it's way less painful than getting waxed by a beauty technician.

While the strips were great for bikini-line cleanup, and it didn't irritate my skin afterward, I wouldn't recommend that you try a full Brazilian yourself. The wax wasn’t as effective on thick hair. But the thin rectangular strips could easily be used for some eyebrow cleanup if you're brave enough. We haven't tried that quite yet, but are definitely considering it.
