Bootcut Jeans
Okay, actual Victoria's Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio would look good in anything, but you have to admit, this look makes bootcut jeans seem very tempting. We loved this style in the 90s, but it's been making a comeback lately — perhaps it's skinny jean fatigue, but we're all about this.
Accent Braids
When it comes to 90s hair, more is more. For instance, a true 90s starlet would never dare step out of the house with just crimped hair — you'd also add some mini-buns and braids. What's really hot right now is accent braids — wearing teeny-tiny braids in your 'do as well as a bigger plait or ponytail.
Double Denim
We may never see a look as iconic as Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake's his-and-hers head-to-toe denim bonanza at the 2001 AMAs, but this is close. Doubling up on denim is cool again — just make sure it's two slightly different shades of blue, a la Cara.

Platforms
The 90s were all about girl power, and you can't have girl power without a good ol' stompy shoe. Big platforms are back in 2016 — ankle socks optional.
Chokers
The quintessential 90s accessory for any self-respecting fashionista, chokers started gaining cool points again at this year's Coachella festival. As Taylor Swift mused, chokers are indeed the new flower crowns.
Off-The-Shoulder Tops
For the truly risque, you could go all out and just skip covering your shoulders altogether. Once again, Kendall's given this a 2016 makeover — bonus points for teaming it with a choker, Ken!

Crop Tops
You couldn't move for midriffs in the 90s, with crop tops left, right and centre. Now, in 2016, they've had a bit of a haute makeover, and they're now totally acceptable red carpet wear.
Combat Boots
Another good stompy shoe! If heels weren't your bag (or you were a cool grungy girl), combat boots were the 90s shoe of choice. And they're now back in vogue — just ask Jessica Alba.
Hair Gems
This one has gotten us a bit overexcited. Getting a head full of hair gems was the highlight of our primary school disco — so color us excited that they're finally making a revival. About time, if you ask us.

Cut-Out Shoulders
We loved a bit of a flesh flash in the 90s, didn't we? If we weren't baring our tummies in a crop top, we were giving everyone the cold shoulder with a cheeky cut-out. Kendall's flying the flag for the cut-out in 2016 — which is fitting as she was born in the 90s.
Checked Shirts
A good plaid shirt was the staple of every rock'n'roll lady back in '96. To be honest, we still love them today for being so comfy and versatile. Isn't that right, Kourtney?
Von Dutch Caps
This is NOT for the faint-hearted. Whether you loved them or hated them at the time, Von Dutch trucker hats were the 90s accessory du jour for the LA set. But, Kylie's half-making us regret putting ours on eBay...

Berry Lips
The ultimate throwback pout? A dark, almost brown, berry lip. Chic then, cool now — we can't get enough. Just look how happy Miranda Kerr looks at the Met Gala with her 90s lips.
Scrunchies
Oh, scrunchies. We loved you, and then threw you aside in favor of clear elastics and Kirby grips. Well no more — as Selena Gomez is proving with this snazzy style, scrunchies are set for a comeback. Hurrah for no more kinks!
