To get: I'm all about simple, classic, easy-to-layer necklaces, and this gorgeous Monica Vinader guy is the perfect example of that. Plus, this particular piece has a leg up on all my other necklaces, because *diamonds* …which is what makes it the perfect Valentine's Day gift.
Monica Vinader Skinny Curve Necklace, $785; monicavinader.com
To give: I got this illustrated version of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for Christmas, and it was my favorite gift by far. The book is freaking gorgeous—artist Jim Kay translated Rowling's words into over 100 images (Hagrid's hut! Draco swiping the Remembrall! Newt Scamander's Guide to Trolls!) that are, in a word, magic. I want to get this for the ultra nerds in my life—or, as I like to call them, my very favorite people.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: The Illustrated Edition, $25;
Julie Schott, Senior Beauty Editor

To get: This 90-minute luxury scrub session eliminates rough skin with a potent blend of diamond and amethyst powders. When the sloughing is complete, an esthetician smoothes Skin Caviar Soufflé from head to toe and you slither out like a snake.
Diamond Perfection Treatment, Spa by La Prairie at The Beverly Hills Hotel, $350; dorchestercollection.com
To give: When it comes to candles, my BF treats Byredo fragrances like Pokémon: "Gotta catch 'em all!" so he'll be into this. Plus, the rosy violet scent means I'm basically getting him flowers for V-DAY. How progressive!
Byredo Loose Lips Candle, $80;

To get: I like more practical gifts that aren't necessarily things I'd buy myself. This smaller Kate Spade wallet is on my wish list because, while I have larger wallets, it'd be great to have a mini version I can just carry in my pocket. I walk around New York a lot, and on the weekends, not having to carry a purse is lovely during those 10-15 mile strolls. Plus, the scallop detail on this is so cute and the pop of red is so me.
Kate Spade Lily Avenue Kieran in Cherry, $168, katespade.com
To give: Valentine's Day is actually my sister's birthday. So while I'm happily single (and use the day personally to celebrate the people I love most, my friends), I'd give her a nice fondue kit—a great tool for her to enjoy her two favorite foods, chocolate and cheese, with.
All-Clad Cast Aluminum Fondue Pot, $180; williams-sonoma.com
Nikki Ogunnaike, Senior Fashion Editor

To get: A pie in the sky gift, but a woman can dream, can't she? This Hermès Apple Watch strap is something I'd have for life—probably longer than the actual watch itself.
Hermes Apple Watch Strap, $1,250; apple.com
To give: It's not the most lovey-dovey gift, but definitely something practical (which he'd probably appreciate even more). This cute, but sturdy Away carry-on in his favorite color will get a lot of use on future trips.
Away Carry-On Luggage, $225; awaytravel.com
Justine Harman, Senior Entertainment Editor

To get: I'm pregnant, so this Valentine's Day I would like nothing more than a prenatal massage at the Shibui Spa at the Greenwich Hotel.
Shibui Spa Prenatal Massage, $200- $280; thegreenwichhotel.com
To give: When I'm not pregnant, which is usually, my husband and I love to belly up a bar and have a few drinks. I have always wanted a bottle with our name on it in the cocktail cabinet at Lower East Side watering hole Saxon + Parole. It's kind of what I like to call a bowling ball gift (a very esoteric The Simpsons reference) because it benefits me, too, but whatever. That's what marriage is: a bowling ball gift.
A Bottle of Spirits in the Saxon + Parole Cocktail Cabinet, priced upon request; saxonandparole.com

To get: I love napping—especially with my boyfriend. Napping is done in its chicest form while wearing luxurious pajama sets in a cotton or silk, which is why this year I'll be asking my boyfriend a pair of elegant PJS.
Olivia von Halle Lila Noa Silk Pyjamas, $444; oliviavonhalle.com
To give: This print will go nicely with the pair I'm receiving, don't you think?
Derek Rose Lingfield Striped Pajama Set, $275; mrporter.com
Mattie Kahn, Writer

To get: I've been wearing diamond studs since I was 12 years old, missing all the cues to up my style game and try out some more adventurous earrings. A decade-plus later, I've upgraded the original pair and still haven't branched out. This celestial single earring matches my old standbys, but is a whole lot more interesting than the set I got for my Bat Mitzvah. Plus, stars are romantic, right?
Smith + Mara Big Dipper Earring, $295; smithandmara.com
To give: Odds are that my movie-obsessed boyfriend would be thrilled to get a Fandango gift certificate , but I'd like to find him something a little more personal. Since I'm not about to rig up a custom projector, I settled on this limited-edition Mondo movie poster. It's sold out on the cultish retailer's online store, but you can find it on eBay, if you're willing to dig. He'll love it, and I'm a sucker for any collectible that inspires
Justine Carreon, Associate Market Editor

To get: I would never accept a gift this extravagant, but seeing as how my boyfriend and I don't usually celebrate this holiday, I just want to put it out in the world that I. Love. This. Necklace.
CVC Stones Orion Necklace, $3,120; barneys.com
To give: He loves cooking, but doesn't like to splurge on expensive cuts. Spending money is something I'm tremendously talented at, so sending him a massive steak he can cook himself is a perfectly absurd gift.
Omaha Steaks King Cut 48 oz. Ribeye on the Bone, $110; omahasteaks.com
Kristina Rodulfo, Associate Editor

To get: Call me cliché, but I love flowers. BloomThat's bouquets are some of the most beautifully packaged flowers I've seen and having those delivered to me (as a surprise, of course!) would make my day. Since flowers wilt, they'd have to be paired with one of my boyfriend's heartfelt, handwritten notes. I'm cheesy. I know.
BloomThat Bouquet, $68; bloomthat.com
To give: Since we started dating, my BF has become quite the skincare enthusiast. His multi-step nighttime routine and product collection now rivals my own, and he is always quick to remind my lazy self of the merits of applying broad spectrum SPF daily (sweet talker, he is). I've passed along a lot of product samples, but his favorite by far was Malin + Goetz's classic face moisturizer. I can't think of a better way of saying "I love you" than a JUMBO-size gift package with not only his beloved face lotion, but all the grooming essentials.
Malin + Goetz Large Gift Box, $180; malinandgoetz.com
