Out of all the beauty products I've tried, nothing beats a good face mask. I love nothing more than kicking my feet up, sipping on a cold pressed juice, and #facemaskandchilling while I binge watch my latest Netflix obsession. Here, a complete guide to masking.

For a skin detox:

I would say my favorite type of mask for a deep clean is a mud or clay mask. I like mud masks because my skin is oily and it helps to draw out impurities and toxins.

Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask: It uses natural ingredients and mineral-rich healing water to cleanse my skin to its core. The good thing about this mask is that it wont dry you out like some other mud masks. It's gentle but effective.

African Botanics Mineral Cleansing Mask: This mud mask delivers results using plant stem cells and marula oil. My skin always feels really nice after using it.

May Lindstrom The Problem Solver: I mean, literally anything that's wrong with your skin, this mask will fix. It tightens pores, fights inflammation, calms and heals blemishes, etc. I like to mix it with the Honey Mud from her line for a real creamy treat.

Koh Gen Do Moisture Mask: With a blend of magnesium, iron, and potassium, this mask will heal your tired skin all the while reducing redness and inflammation.

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay: The holy grail of mud masks and it'll only cost you $10! I've been using this mask for over 10 years. You mix this with equal parts raw apple cider vinegar. You will feel it tighten–I imagine it's what your face feels after a face lift. You literally can't even smile! Be careful not to leave it on your skin for too long, it can be harsh and drying.

For acne prone skin:

Besides the mud mask, there are several products that I recommend for acne prone skin. If the rest of my face is dry I'll just apply the detox mask to my t-zone and use a hydrating mask on the rest of my face.

Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack: I love how this mask gives me a cooling sensation after I use it. It lasts for hours. My face FEELS really clean and healthy afterwards.

Kate Somerville Eradikate Mask: Hello glorious, spot-free skin! This mask, when used regularly will heal and prevent your blemishes.

Mario Badescu Healing & Soothing Mask: Uses oatmeal and olive leaf extract to not only fight acne but hydrate your skin after. Also, it's under $20!

For dry skin:

When my skin gets dehydrated I rely on this moisturizing trio.

Dr. Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Hydrating Modeling Mask: You had me at hyaluronic! I love this mask not only because it works but its also fun! It's bright blue and you get to peel it off, not rinse like most masks. It also leaves a cooling sensation on your face which I've stated before is like kryptonite for me.

Mario Badescu Super Collagen Mask: This collagen-infused mask plumps, soothes, and reduces fine lines. What else could a girl ask for?

Dior Hydra Life Beauty Awakening Rehydrating Mask: Yes, wake me up please. This mask moisturizes, stimulates renewal of epidermal cells, and restores skin "bounce" in a matter of minutes.

For skin resurfacing:

I live for an at-home peel–these transform your skin like nothing else. Sometimes I'll do a peel then a mask for major skin rehab.

La Prairie Cellular 3-Minute Peel: In just THREE minutes you're looking younger, brighter, fresher–no joke!

Chantecaille Fruit and Flower Acids Mask: This mask mixes glycolic acid along with fruit acids and extracts to leave your skin truly glowing and smelling like roses.

Dr. Sebagh Deep Exfoliating Mask: I've been using this mask for over four years. It uses Azelaic and lactic acid to exfoliate dead skin and promote a faster cell turnover. I always use this followed by Dr. Sebagh Skin Perfecting Mask before I go out at night and my skin looks incredible.

For anti-aging:

Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask: This masks promises "instant youth" and actually delivers. In just 10 minutes my face feels smoother, softer, and dare I say younger.

La Mer Lifting & Firming Mask: This is seriously luxury in a jar. It comes with a very fancy applicator brush and literally feels like heaven when you apply it. I also use this on my neck and have seen real results in terms of tightness and line reduction.

For night repair:

Dior Hydra Life Jelly Sleeping Mask: This mask is great for dryness or for when the winter is just being too rough on your skin. On cold nights I will apply this and wake up to perfectly plumped, hydrated skin.

Perricone MD Multi-Action Overnight Treatment: AH‐MAZ‐ING!! My skin has been baby soft ever since I started using it. You apply a nice layer before you go to bed and voila! New skin alert!

Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Water-Max Sleeping Mask: Hyaluronic acid, white olive leaf, and cranberry work together to penetrate your skin deep to hydrate, plump, and boost elasticity.

For a quick fix:

m‐61 Fast Blast: The most no-fuss mask on the planet. It literally takes two minutes to transform your skin. This mask contains vitamin C which is great for waking up your skin. I use it in the shower before I start my day.

Sisley Radiant Glow Express Mask: This masks combines clay, plant extract, and essential oils to give you a punch of radiance all in under three minutes.

For travel:

I live for sheet masks! They're quick, easy, and great to travel with. I also love the fun ones that you can get from your local Korean beauty store. I sometimes use these with my son and we play around in them. They make great gifts as well.

Karuna: They make every type of mask you will ever need and they also have a luxe line that's really…LUXE!

The Koh Gen Do Macro Vintage: My skin feels soft and wonderful after using it. I always use the Dior Snow masks after I get back from vacation. My skin is usually tanner and I need to even it out, these masks help with dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
